The ProActive Services Business-IT alignment assessment service utilises the internationally recognised COBIT framework. Additionally, the assessment includes a Technology vs. Business continuum survey, as well as a simple survey using a Net Promoter approach and scoring mechanism.

Another method to help answer the above questions is to benchmark your key IT services to get the business perspective. This survey measures Customer quality of Experience and uses SERVQUAL for measurement. SERVQUAL measures both the functionality and capability of service according to the ITIL® attributes of Utility and Warranty.
This information can be used to initiate a business-driven Capability Improvement Journey to develop the capability needed to deliver IT services at the level required by the business, rather than what can be arbitrary capability targets.
